Kettle maintenance is important. Over time the build-up of limestone minerals, found in hard water, will result in the kettle scaling and stains. With regular maintenance, you can extend the life of your hotel room kettles.
The JVD Descaling Powder uses a natural citric acid to clean the kettle. It is 100% biodegradable, odourless and simple to use.
Cleaning instructions: Simply, add a tablespoon of descaling powder and fill the kettle to around three-quarters full. Bring the solution to a boil and then pour the solution into the next kettle that needs to be cleaned to repeat the process. For best results, leave the solution in the kettle for 10-15 minutes. Generally, one tablespoon of descaling powder can wash between 5 to 8 kettles. Rinse each kettle thoroughly after cleaning.
